Making your own moisturizer is easier than you think. Not to mention it’s a cleaner, more cost-efficiency way to keep your skin hydrated regardless of the season. You’ll know exactly what ingredients are in the product, that it’s ethically produced and not tested on animals, and you can even adjust the recipe to suit it to your own unique skincare needs! With a few simple ingredients, you’re half an hour away from smooth, nourished skin. Remember to add vitamin E oil to lengthen the lifespan of your body butter. Start to finish: 30 minutes
1/4 cup shea butter
1/4 cup beeswax, grated
2 droppers of Vitagenne Pure Wellness CBD Oil
1/3 cup aloe vera gel
1 teaspoon vitamin E oil (optional)
Sterilize a jar and lid in boiling water for 10 minutes.
In a double boiler, melt grated beeswax and shea butter. (If you don’t have a double boiler, float a glass or metal bowl in a pot of boiling water.)
Remove the beeswax and shea butter from heat when melted.
To the bowl, add Vitagenne Pure Wellness CBD Oil.
Once cool, spoon mixture in a blender and add the aloe vera. Add vitamin E oil, if using.
Whip for 2 to 4 minutes or until smooth and silky.
Store CBD skincare moisturizer in a cool, dark place.
Start to finish: 5 minutes
1/2 cup plain organic yogurt
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 dropper Vitagenne Pure Wellness CBD Oil
1/2 an avocado
In a small bowl, mash the avocado.
To the bowl, add yogurt, honey, and CBD oil and mix until a thick paste forms.
Gently apply the mask to the face and leave on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water and gently pat your face dry. Moisturize as normal.
